Custom Domains
Serve images from your own branded domain
Custom Domains
Instead of using the default assets.avvyr.com hostname, you can serve images from a custom domain that matches your brand — for example images.example.com.
How it works
Custom domains are configured as additional hostnames on the CDN edge layer. Once set up, all existing image paths and transformation parameters work exactly the same — only the hostname changes.

What you need to provide
To set up a custom domain, contact Avvyr support with the following:
- The domain you want to use — e.g.
images.example.com - DNS access — you will need to create a CNAME record pointing your domain to the Avvyr edge endpoint. Avvyr support will provide the exact CNAME target.
- SSL certificate — Avvyr provisions a managed TLS certificate automatically for your domain. No action required on your side.
Setup process
- Contact Avvyr support with your desired domain.
- Avvyr configures the custom domain on the CDN edge.
- You create the CNAME record in your DNS provider.
- Avvyr verifies the DNS and provisions the TLS certificate.
- The custom domain is live — all image URLs work under your hostname.
Note: Custom domain setup is currently a manual process handled by Avvyr support. There is no self-service API for domain configuration at this time.
